Fair Prices Not Fake Prices

How Big Mattress Stores Take Advantage of Regular Customers

In the mattress business, it’s all in the name. The Serta® mattress we sell at the Bedding Center as the Dune’s West for $649, could be called the Kleinmon Plush at Cardi’s or the Ferrington at Jordan’s priced at $749. The Simmons Beautyrest® Great Lakes Cove Luxury Firm that we sell  everyday for $799 is called the Waterscape Plush at Macy’s, where the sale price is $997, the regular price is $2,995.

It’s a game. The mattress manufacturers do this to make it hard on you — the mattress buyer. If you can’t compare prices on the mattress you want at different stores, how can you tell who’s offering you the better deal?

At the Bedding Center, we make it easy. We charge a fair price for great mattresses everyday. No gimmicky sales. No fake prices. And we’ll tell you what the price for the same mattress would be a Jordan’s, Cardi’s or Macy’s.

And watch out for their delivery prices. After they nail you with their fake prices, they tack on a huge delivery charge, typically $100 or more. Our delivery prices are typically less than half of theirs, often as low as $20 if you’re nearby.
